Permax Lawsuits - Heart Damage From Parkinson's Disease Treatment
Published: March 28, 2007
Permax is the trade name for pergolide, a drug most commonly prescribed for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Many thousands of patients received prescriptions for these drugs.
The FDA has announced that the manufacturer of Permax has voluntarily removed it from the US market because of a study indicating significant risk to the heart of patients using it.
Permax has been shown to damage the valves of the heart and can cause blood backflow which results in shortness of breath and fatigue in those taking it.
If you have taken Permax please contact The Law Offices of Robert Davis today at 800-821-1242 for a free case review. You'll be glad you did.
